"Anti-missiles defenses in action in the skies of Ashkelon, Israel",
It is the first time that the skies of Israel fill with flashes and hazes from missiles from Iran. The anti-missiles defenses intercepted over 200 cruise missiles and drones sent by Iran. Not all the aircrafts got to enter the Israeli`s airspace thanks to the help of the US and Jordanian defenses. US President Joe Biden said "we helped Israel take down nearly all" of missiles and drones as he expressed strong condemnation for the attack.
The spokesman for Israel Defense Forces soon confirmed that some missiles had entered Israel, but caused minor damage to a military base.

In a threat that this turns into an infinite loop of answer-attacks, on Sunday the UN Security Council called on an emergency meeting to show restraint of a full conflict between the two countries in the Middle East. “Neither the region nor the world can afford more war,” Secretary-general Antonio Guterres told the meeting. “Now is the time to defuse and de-escalate” he stated.
