Artificial intelligence is increasingly camouflaged in our lives, it is part of our daily lives and we count on it to save time. Fashion joins this new trend and Desigual creates its first collection of clothes designed by artificial intelligence.

"On demand" is a spring/summer 2024 proposal produced solely and exclusively on demand by artificial intelligence tools. This is undoubtedly a method of innovation that the brand assures that it meant a boost within the global fashion system. This production model also involves energy savings that seeks to optimize the use of resources and update the brand's image, while maintaining the disruptive, original and innovative attitude that Thomas Meyer's Spanish firm has always tried to convey. With it, it seeks to combine the style that the brand has maintained during its 40 years. This is a way to stretch their relationship with young people. Another way that all brands are using nowadays to reach a huge audience is social networks. Tik tok or Instagram makes possible a fast diffusion of news in a short period of time.

Customers will be able to follow the development and creation of their garment and the brand estimates a delay of 90 days from purchase to delivery of the finished product.

"We are very excited to test these designs made by our team and supported by artificial intelligence", says the owner of the store about this new project, with which they will focus on meeting the possible and future needs of their customers.

This collection has already reached influential countries in the world of fashion and this new digital era such as: Spain, Germany, France and Italy where this collection is already on sale although the Catalan firm has revealed its intention to increase the expansion of this new method of fashion design in other countries.

As for the price of the products we could say that they are not affordable for everyone, since due to the costly and long production process, the garments range between 100 and 200 euros.

"We are very excited to test these designs made by our team and supported by artificial intelligence."

Thomas Meyer

In conclusion, more and more our world is adapting to new technologies, Desigual has been the first but certainly not the last and with it "they have seen the opportunity to explore new ways of contact with customers and to respond to industry trends in a way in line with their values of authenticity and creativity".
