Last Tuesday 15 States went into primaries to choose the next presidential candidates. The ex-president won in almost every state summing over 800 delegates that will vote in his favor to represent the G.O.P. in November. Now he only needs over 200 votes in the rest of the states and it is certain that he will face Biden at the presidential election in November.

Only one State resisted the Trump wave last Tuesday and voted for Nikki Haley, the only resistance left to fight the ex-president after DeSantis abandoned the career. In a tight vote, Vermont elected 9 delegates for Haley. However this wasn’t of any help since Haley had a long distance from Trump’s triumph in all caucuses. After Super Tuesday, the ex-president had an advantage of more than 900 delegates from Haley. Soon enough Haley admitted her defeat and confirmed she was dropping out of G.O.P primaries, but avoided showing any support to Trump. However, many see a success in Haley’s failure as she has persisted for much longer than anyone had expected. No one can stop Trump now in the Republican party, but probably anyone couldn’t stop him from the beginning.

Trump wasn’t the only one to triumph, Biden also stood with a vast majority in every caucus as it is usual for re-elected candidates. However, Biden now faces a weakness in his own electorate, since many young and arabic voters have voted “without preference” in their ballots as a punishment for his explicit support to Israel. The protest vote has been clearly shown in Minnesota, where there are more arabic voters and over 20% of the vote had the option “without preference”, according to AP actualizations.

The next months will be marked by a rough campaign between old adversaries, each one facing the concerns that has been rose about president's age and the situation in Israel. Biden will not have an easy path to the White House with the mistrust of young electorate and nor will have it a Donald Trump that is incapable of achieving the vote from the minorities.
