He talked about Artificial Intelligence influence in news transformation, current trends and the two main problems in the audience that journalists should be aware of.
Younger people are not longer entertained by news, they need visual elements, such as these trendy new platforms: Tik Tok or Instagram. That’s why news website access has changed. Among many other facts, polarizations of news media is also one of the main issues that lead to two main problems: an increase in the percentage of people that avoid news and the loss of trust.
Artificial intelligence and chat gpt are now being used not only as a root of information but also as a way of source able to answer factual questions, writing essays or even creating content or reporting things that news organizations used to do.
In conclusion, Eduardo Suárez described the main way journalists must follow with the current evolution in techonology taking into account what people think while reading news nowadays, and being able to recognise the ways to catch people's attention while reporting news.
